Environmental Services

AGAK pays attention to environmental, social, occupational health and safety considerations in the delivery of sustainable infrastructure solutions. Through a robust partnership programme, AGAK is able to seamlessly integrate relevant external capabilities with its own multidisciplinary offering of services such as:

  • Environmental Authorisations
  • Environmental Management
  • On-site Construction Control
  • Social Impact Assessments, and
  • Occupational Health and Safety.

The teams include qualified and skilled Environmental Engineers, Scientists, Sociologists, Psychologists, economists and analysts with local and international experience in their respective fields.

Infrastructure Asset Management

AGAK provides comprehensive Infrastructure Asset Management services in compliance with the Generally Recognized Accounting Principles (GRAP 17) Property, Plant & Equipment. AGAK Consulting Engineers uses its ROMDAS and IMQS equipment to collect most of its field data. AGAK Consulting develops Asset Management Policies and Asset Management Programmes to assist different Municipalities in future development and Planning of their infrastructure as well as maintenance programmes.

Our services include:

  • Develop Comprehensive Infrastructure Fixed Asset Registers
  • Develop Asset Management Policies
  • Develop and monitor Infrastructure Maintenance Plans
  • Develop Geographical Information Systems (GIS).

Public Private Partnerships (PPPs)

AGAK offers Technical Advisory Services for infrastructure projects including transportation, buildings, energy and water. AGAK has participated on several PPPs in Southern Africa, led by their Southern Africa, Director, Mr Kgatitsoe. Currently he is involved in the” Preparation of a full Bankability Feasibility Study for the Limpopo Science and Technology Park Project, identification and obtaining commitments from potential anchor tenants, and soliciting funding for the construction of the park in South Africa estimated at capital cost of R8 Billion”, “Maintenance of Mechanical Infrastructure for 21 Dams and Pump Stations in the Orange Vaal Area for the Department of Water and Sanitation with a maintenance programme budget of R1,3 Billion” and “The setting up of a Quarry with 35,000 aggregate tons per month production capacity to rehabilitate a borrow-pit, earmarked for the development of 2,000 mixed use development by the City  of Tshwane in South Africa.

Our PPP services have facilitated service delivery especially in Municipalities, in developing unique design solutions that produce significant value for money in the overall project cost.
