Eng. Meme Kagga

Eng. Meme Kagga is an Electrical Engineer, and holds a Master in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Management from the University of Birmingham, UK. She has expertise in Project / Program Management, Design, Construction Supervision and Inspection of Electrical and Communications systems in sectors including Hydro-power, Power, Infrastructure, Transport, Infrastructural Asset Evaluations, Resettlement Action Plans and more.

She has worked on engineering projects in Uganda, United Kingdom, South Africa, South Sudan and United States. She has worked on the Maintenance of Mechanical Infrastructure for 21 Dams and Pump Stations in the Orange Vaal Area for the Department of Water and Sanitation with a maintenance programme budget of R1,3 Billion, Project managed the 183MW Isimba Hydro-Power Plant under the Owner’s Engineer in Uganda, and Under the PPP Transaction Advisory services conducted a Feasibility Study to Explore the possibility of using Energy Power Saving Banks to save the cost of Bulk Purchase Electricity and Tariff Modelling Review for Polokwane Municipality in South Africa.
